John Kompaniez has lived in Huntington Beach for the last 20 years with his wife Sandra, toddler Isabella, and baby Peter.

John Kompaniez is an active member of his community. He supports causes such as the American Diabetes Association, Cystic Fibrosis, Cystinosis for a Cure, Hoag Hospital, Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Irvine Children's Youth Guidance.

John Kompaniez loves the outdoors. John is an avid skier, in both snow and water, cyclist, and mountain biker. He regularly competes in charity races. This year, during his annual Catalina Ski race, he had some special guests on his team. John had 3 Iraqi war veterans, all Purple Heart recipients, help navigate him on his grueling 62 mile journey. It was a special day and rewarding for all parties involved.
